Founded in 2001 by Hank and Tracy Chalmers, Eagle Encounters is a birds of prey rehabilitation, education and eco-tourism centre located on the sweeping Spier Estate near Stellenbosch. Housing a host of feathery friends who have been either been injured or hand-reared, Eagle Encounters works to rehabilitate these fortunate fowls and release them back into the wild.
