Giving aural-junkies the chance to spend the dawning of the New Year rocking out, the three day New Year’s Festival serves what’s arguably the largest DJ line-up ever assembled at a single event in South Africa. Boasting 22 international acts and 70 local acts over four stages, with free camping spaces , the festival makes the perfect post-apocalypse celebration for those who managed to survive the end of the world.
Celebrating the dawning of a new year and create a sense of unity, the Festival saturates music lovers with a new breed of electronic dance music, inviting acts ranging from electro to trance, drum & bass to progressive, filth, funk, house, techno and more. Doors open at 11:00 for camping on the 31st and the festival drops its last bass at 18:00 on 2 January 2013.
