Surfing  

Downhill Adventures runs the oldest surfing school in Cape Town, using proven techniques to get absolute beginners standing and surfing on a wave by the end of a day.

Expert guides will fill you in on surfers’ secrets of how to paddle out, read the ocean, catch a wave and stand up on a board.

Time: Departure 10am and return at 5pm
Bring: Swimming costume, towel, hat, sunscreen and camera

You will receive a lifetime of accumulated surfing tips, technical info and practical surf wizardry to get the most out of the day. Once you are up and running your instructors will show you how to progress and start really feeling the stoke!  

Sandboarding

Cape Town is one of the few places in the world where you can experience the radical new sport Sandboarding. Downhill Adventures uses only the best imported snowboarding equipment which is modified using secret techniques. They offer various sandboarding adventures and combo's and give full instruction based on international snowboarding lessons. Sandboard in the incredible dunes of the ??(name) nature reserve situated just a short distance from central Cape Town for an adventure day to be remembered. A short drive leads to the Lost City of Atlantis or Silver Sands in Betty’s Bay where the most spectacular dune environments exist in Cape Town.
