Starting the Hemel-en-Aarde Village the MTB challenge offers four different routes with beautiful views and various levels of difficulty. Each track presents riders with its own challenges suitable for a variety of experience levels. Take on the purpose built single track and attempt tough climbs before winding down the valley to finish at Curro School.

Winding through breathtaking scenery, along beautiful trails with river crossings and a few climbs, the Hermanus Whale Festival Trail Runs wind through fynbos, vineyards, riverbeds and some mountain forests to give entrants the full benefit of nature.

Taking place on 11 October 2014, the festival will see athletes of various levels of experience line up to take on the scenic routes planned. All entries will receive a medal when finishing at Curro School, where the prize giving will be held.
