The legend of Meerendal’s wine & bread began almost 300 years ago … the journey continues at the Manor House restaurant in the beautifully decorated Meerendal Manor House. It is here where guests are delighted by natural flavour, outstanding preparation & artful presentation hence the slogan “The Home of Food and Wine”. The chefs turns Meerendal's fresh produce into moments of magic, filled with natural flavour and the wonder of outstanding preparation, inspired presentation and a love of cooking.
The Meerendal wines are elegant fruit driven wines ideally suited for matching the excellent cuisine that you can expect at the farm. Cellar master Liza Goodwin coaxes award winning wines from hand tended vineyards. These noble varieties include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinotage, Shiraz, Merlot and Pinot Noir.
