Dinner shouldn’t revolve around “Ten questions I was asked yesterday and the day before”.  With today’s Groupon, dinner doesn’t have to have the same tedious conversations amplified by the mediocre atmosphere. This Groupon offers you a free pass for one night at Lords and Legends where you can sink your teeth into a plate of their scrumptious chicken poppers for two for only R57.

Lords and Legends signature dish does not require you to have a magnifying glass to find the food on your plate. This dish consists of enough chicken poppers and chips to feed two people. Three chicken fillets are hand selected for your pallet, and wrapped around an explosion of flavours including jalapeno, feta, ham and cheese, bacon, guacamole and prawns, just to name a few . The fillets are crumbed, deep fried and smothered in a tantalizing sauce. Prepared to perfection, the poppers are popped on a plate along with a sizeable helping of golden chips.

If the tempting aromas make your stomach yearn for the food so much that your mouth begins to water and the drool becomes a bit too embarrassing, then feel free to move to the refreshing veranda. They have an extensive menu catering for everyone’s taste even if your chosen partner is your pet rock. Lords and Legends’ regular entertainment evenings ensure each visit is unique and memorable. It’s not every day that you get a discount for food, drinks and amusing entertainment. Please note: scintillating conversation is not included.

Restaurant fact: The first known restaurant was in Japan. Cheta Doo started a restaurant on a mountain peak in Japan to make money to build a house. She built her restaurant out of paper mache which attracted many foreigners. The restaurant became very popular and due to its 100s of customers a day, her restaurant experienced a lot of damage and she was forced to close down. She did however make enough money to build three houses on different plots.
