The coastal forest reserve is also home to many local and subtropical bird species as well as red duiker and reedbuck for the animal enthusiasts.
My wife and I needed a relaxing interval before starting a hectic safari holiday and found Rocktail to be the ideal spot. A beautiful room with glass and mosquito netting giving the impression of being outside, a completely private veranda which was not overlooked, the room was furnished superbly in a rustic but luxurious style with a brilliant large bathroom. Add to this miles of empty beach, superb food and a friendly relaxed staff and we had the recipe to chill out completely – Don D on 28 March 2012
