"As a corporate get together, you cannot beat Adventure Golf. It is a skillful game with loads of fun and ideal for tournaments and leagues. Great for the family too. I highly recommend it!" Dale Hayes
It’s been called the gentleman’s game, the elitist’s game, child’s play. Many refer to it as the-game-where-6-year-olds- beat-you-down-mercilessly. But it’s best known as Adventure golf.
Unlike “real” golf, Adventure Golf goes beyond the grass-grass-grass-sand-grass-grass-water-grass boundaries of traditional golf. Tee off from beneath fragrant bougainvillea trellises and manoeuvre your way through palm trees, rose bushes and tropical vegetation. Cross meandering streams on stepping stones, tip toe across log bridges and navigate your way around treacherous water features. You’ll face dark times as the course takes you through caves and caverns. But there’s always a light and koi-fish pond at the end of the miniature tunnels.
Like any great sport, there will come a time when it all becomes too much. When the mechanically rotating tables are turned against you, your way is littered with boulders and your little white golf ball develops a mind of its own. In desperate times like these we strongly recommend that you take a timeout at the café, get your act together over refreshments or perfect your aim in a friendly game of foosball.
Challenge your friend with no ball skills, the kid next door, the lady from the pharmacy, little Johnny’s teacher or the 'pro' golfer in the corner office to a round of Adventure golf at our Brightwater commons, Fourways Mall or Stoneridge Centre courses. It’s fun for all shapes, ages, members of the family, classes, ball skill levels and sizes and at R20 an adult 3-game ticket, now’s the perfect time to start training.
It's more than a game ... it's an adventure.
