Through the PinkDrive campaign, the non-profit organisation Cause Marketing Fundraisers is committed to improving breast cancer awareness and education, while also providing services to women across South Africa. Cause Marketing Fundraisers also have an education unit working in approximately 87 health centres in Gauteng and a mammography unit which operates at Groote Schuur and Tygerberg Hospitals in the Western Cape. The unit is also used by the Cape Peninsula University of Technology for the certification training of radiographers into mammography. PinkDrive has established a referral process whereby all newly diagnosed patients are navigated through the Public Health System. PinkDrive aims to educate women who may not have access to breast health information and services.
Providing affordable, convenient mammography services to women in the private and corporate sectors, as well as free scanning and education to disadvantaged communities via local clinics, community health centres and specified hospitals with no oncology facilities, the PinkDrive is a campaign worth supporting.

With all proceeds going to charity, The PinkDrive’s Pink Tie Dinner is the ideal way to spend a Friday evening, not only having a good time, but doing a good deed as well. With a gourmet dinner, fabulous entertainment by The Muses and goody bags packed with amazing gifts from Edgars, Jenna Clifford and Diana Carmichael, the PinkDrive will ensure the night is one to remember. All funds are in support of the PinkDrive mobile breast check units to ensure they stay on the road and continue to provide the much needed free breast cancer testing and education that all South African women should have access to.
