An interactive five-level online course for primary school students, Sparksville Language course introduces vocabulary, grammar and conversational language through online presentations, practice activities and assessment. Making learning fun, Sparksville introduces your little one to the English language through the Sparks family, an online family filled with cool kids, funky parents and zany grandparents. The Sparksville curriculum is based around three strands of language; vocabulary, grammar and skits. Vocabulary is concisely presented with colourful illustrations, allowing children to build a library of useful, everyday words. Vocabulary is practiced in the context of grammar where children move from short phrases to longer sentences. The skits bring language alive in the setting of the Sparksville world where children will hear fluent English and can practice speaking it.

Vocabulary Presentation Activities

Students click items and the image appears with audio. Students have time to repeat the audio. The text then appears below the image and the audio is repeated. They can then move on to various practice activities
Grammar Presentation Phase Activities

Students see the grammar for the first time through playing with interactive machines. Each scene is set in a part of the Sparks family world and students enjoy pushing the buttons to reveal the language to be learned
