Check-in at the Emeraude Cafe in Halong City before enjoying a relaxing and wonderful cruise through World Nature Heritage Halong Bay and past some bizarre rock formations. A welcome cocktail provides refreshment on the sun-deck on check-in while a lavish buffet lunch served at the restaurant keeps you fuelled. Later, visit the Sung Sot Caves or take the option of swimming or kayaking near Kang Trong anchorage. Happy hour follows with complimentary canapés at the sun-deck bar followed by an international buffet dinner and an evening movie show before you retire to a superior cabin of the Emeraude Cruise.

After breakfast, start the day with a relaxing five-hour cruise through Halong Bay and past some bizarre rock formations, during which you’ll visit some of the more stunning grottoes and be tantalised with delicious and fresh seafood. Once you’ve returned to Hanoi, delight your other senses with a performance of famous water puppetry and more leisure time to explore Hanoi before spending the night at La Dolce Vita Hotel.
 

After waking the next morning at sunrise, practice Tai Chi on the sun deck before tucking in to an energizing western breakfast and returning to Hanoi with en-route visit of Bat Trang pottery village. In the evening, attend the performance of the famous Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry at Thang Long Theatre and spend the night at the Church Boutique hotel.
 

A morning of leisure is followed by a transfer for your flight to Danang in the early afternoon, where you’ll drive the short distance past Non Nuoc Beach to the enchanting town of Hoi An. Visit the culturally rich town on foot and explore the unique architectural style temples, wooden bridges and narrow streets before spending a cosy night at Vinh Hung Resort.

After a delicious breakfast, you’ll explore Marble Mountain and its scenic caves, temples and shrines before arriving at the former Imperial City of Hue. Enjoy a visit to the Cham Museum, lunch at a local restaurant and the spectacular Hai Van Pass. Once in Hue, spend the day at leisure exploring the site where the northern and southern ecosystems meet and its river-hills, greenery and beautiful landscapes before spending the night at the Park View Hotel.

Day six:
 

Start your morning with a scenic boat trip on the Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda, “Heavenly Lady Pagoda”, before taking in the sights of the Imperial Citadel of Hue with the Purple Forbidden City. Afterwards, you’ll visit the local Dong Ba Market, have lunch at a local restaurant and continue to Tu Duc Royal Tomb to see one of the most beautiful mausoleums before flying to Ho Chi Minh City to check in at the Family Inn Saigon.



Day seven:
 

After breakfast, you’ll drive to the Cu Chi district to visit the amazing complex of underground tunnels before returning for lunch and spending the afternoon on a walking tour. Taking you from the Saigon River past magnificent sites, the tour passes the Opera House, Town Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral and the old Post Office to visit the Reunification Palace before finishing at the famous Ben Thanh Market. Enjoy an evening of leisure or join the optional dinner cruise on the Saigon River before retiring to Family Inn Saigon.

Day eight:
 

Enjoy a day of leisure or optional excursions in and around Ho Chi Minh City, such as the Good Morning Saigon Tour before being transferred to the Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your departure flight.
