Just upstream from the car park lies the exquisite Larney Lane camp where Groupon guests will be spending their stay. Comprising of four different types of units – namely Hitchens, Dawsons, Shayamoyas and Eddies – guests won’t be staying a regular chalet or rondavel; rather, each en-suite design is utterly unique and built in unity with the immediate environment using river stone, reed and canvas as materials. The Hitchens unit features the largest rock double-bed headboard in Africa while the Dawsons’ outdoor rock shower boasts one of the most beautiful views in Africa. Those staying in Shayamoya can enjoy their own private reading or sun downer spot while the Eddies units are conveniently placed close to the central camp and tea tent, dining room, kitchen and bar. The perfect place for couples, the private, peaceful Larney Lane camp ensures a special stay. 




 

Zingela is ideally situated for guided game walks, birding or fishing. Groupies will enjoy a water rafting experience through the exhilarating Tugela Canyon and a game walk as their two inclusive activities, but may embark on additional adventures at an extra cost. Largely dictated by the seasons, Zingela’s natural playground offers opportunities for kayaking, fishing, zip-sliding, abseiling, 4x4 and mountain bike trails and game viewing. Most likely to be spotted are the giraffe, kudu, blue wildebeest, zebra, Nyala, impala and bush buck while the leopard, caracal and aardvark are harder to find as they abide by nocturnal habits.
