Behind its inviting façade lies a formidable course with many strategically placed fairway bunkers and several doglegs to keep things unpredictable, much like a well-written thriller. After you’ve navigated the fairways the bent grass greens await you, and just like a cornered possum it could go any way. Golfing fact: The earliest remnants of golfing equipment were recently unearthed during an archaeological dig. Amongst the items found were several golf balls made of compressed sand and tree sap tightly wrapped in animal pelts, and clubs fashioned from carved mammoth ribs.
