Offering exceptional luxury in a small, intimate hotel setting, Tintswalo at Waterfall is the ideal location for a stress-free, sumptuous stay. Allowing for spectacular 360 degree views, the unique design mirrors a typical barn, complete with thick stone-clad walls, double volume spaces and heavy bolted timber roof trusses. Keeping with the charming décor, the individually appointed rooms boast atmospheric earth tones, dark rough cut wood, steel and textured fabrics. Discerning guests will feel like rich country royalty when looking out over the pristine polo fields, the estate dam and the distant Magaliesburg Mountains – making a stay at Tintswalo second to none.
Offering unparalleled culinary treats, guests can sate their appetites with delicious daily breakfasts or elegant dinners at Tintswalo’s in-house restaurant, The Feedroom. Breakfasts can be enjoyed overlooking the sweeping polo field and include fruit smoothies, salmon, muesli and seasonal fruit and scrumptious English breakfasts while delicious dinners all boast the executive chef’s contemporary culinary style. For guests with leisure in mind, muscles can be soothed and complexions catered for at the Vital Source Spa, while daily workouts can be completed at the fully functional gym. Various walking trails allow for the adventurous guest to explore the grounds while a beautiful bar leading onto a sweeping veranda is ideal for nightcaps and late-night chats. A fine selection of cognacs, whiskeys and cigars are on offer at the The Feedroom while a well-stocked underground wine cellar provides unique dining and social experiences.
I stayed two nights at this property outside of Johannesburg. The staff and the property cannot be beat. It is beautiful and they can’t do enough for you. I would not hesitate to put anyone there. The continental breakfast has a great selection and all the meals were wonderful
