More About The Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre
Established in 1971, the De Wildt Cheetah Centre was renamed to honour Ann van Dyk who dedicated her life to the survival of the cheetah species. A conservation project dedicated to successfully breeding the king cheetah in captivity, the centre has also launched conservation efforts including other endangered animal species, such as the African wild dog, brown hyena, servals, suni antelope, and riverine rabbits.
