Ilita Lodge is situated in the picturesque town of Great Brak River, where it is idyllically located on top of a hill overlooking the stunning Indian Ocean. The upmarket, stylish lodge offers modern amenities along with warm hospitality and the efficient service of the highly skilled and friendly staff. Each spacious self-catering unit has an open plan kitchen and lounge area with two en-suite bedrooms, one with a luxurious double bed and the other with two single beds. A TV with a DVD player is also on offer for those who want to spend hours catching up on their favourite shows, while a private braai area ensures that you have a prime viewing spot over the incomparable views the Garden Route has to offer. After a comfortable night’s slumber, indulge in a delicious and beautifully presented breakfast served in their cosy and homely dining room area.
The exquisite Ilita Lodge specialises in golf tours and has successful relationships with a number of beautiful courses around the Garden Route. Other fun and relaxing activities in the area include boat cruises, forest trails, mountain biking as well as bird watching. Spend a few hours taking a dip and cooling off in the lodge’s turquoise blue swimming pool, work up a sweat at the gym or put your feet up in the lavish Jacuzzi.
I stayed at Ilita Lodge with my group, it has only 10 rooms so it’s ideal for families and small groups. Everything about this hotel is wonderful. The Location - right on top of the hill with beautiful views of the Indian Ocean and the nearby Mossel Bay Town. Rooms - large rooms with good beds and en-suite bathrooms. Each room has a balcony to sit and marvel at the panorama
