Day one: Nairobi to Aberdares
An early pickup from the airport before driving to Aberdares. From Nairobi, you will pass through the industrial town of Thika and the intensely cultivated farms of central Kenya. Arriving at Aberdares Country Club you can relax until a delicious lunch is served. Then you will be transferred in a lodge vehicle to The Ark Lodge in the Aberdares National Park. Aberdares National Park has a diverse topography that includes icy rivers, spectacular waterfalls and rain forests. Leopard, elephant, serval, water buck, reed buck, dik-dik, rhino and the rare bongo can all be found there. Dinner and overnight stay at The Ark will complete your first day.
Day two: Aberdares to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast at The Ark Lodge, transfer back to Aberdares Country Club before driving to Lake Naivasha. Arrive for lunch and then enjoy an afternoon at leisure and a boat ride. An optional visit to Crescent Island can be provided at an extra cost before a dinner and overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Country Club.
Drive via the Great Rift Valley to arrive at Masai Mara in time for lunch at Keekorok Lodge. After lunch, an afternoon game drive until dusk will enthral animal lovers. The Mara offers a variety of wildlife, including lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti search of water and pasture occurs. Following on their heels are the predators of the savannah – lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. Dinner and overnight stay at Keekorok Lodge.
Day four: Masai Mara National Game Reserve
Enjoy an early morning game drive in the Mara before returning for breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning at leisure, before indulging in a delicious lunch. An afternoon game drive until dusk will delight, before dinner and an overnight stay at Keekorok Lodge.
Day five: Masai Mara National Game Reserve to Nairobi to departure
Full buffet breakfast at the lodge. Check out and drive to Nairobi to arrive in time for lunch at Carnivore Restaurant. After lunch, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your departure flight.

Located amidst a green forest keekorok is the best place for a holiday. Food is good and the staff is friendly. The weather for us was really nice. The hippo pool was an add-on and one could spot the hippos in the early morning

Reviews
Think of a little wooden lodge at the edge of a watering hole in the middle of a forest. Now add to it the comforts of a three-star, with cosy rooms, buffet meals, fantastic open as well as enclosed viewing galleries from where you can spot a diverse array of wildlife 24/7 and you have The Ark at Nyeri, in the Aberdare national Park, Kenya
