The Hotel at a Glance
The wooden, A-frame cottages are snuggled between dense trees, each with a balcony that peers over the estuary and Knysna Heads. The interiors are warm and cosy, the yellowwood giving off a glow that invites you to unwind in this fairytale-like kingdom for a while. Each unit is semi-equipped for self-catering with kitchenette, en-suite bathroom with spa bath and a television with selected DStv channels - so you can snuggle up and watch a movie in the evenings. There are also braai facilities and a communal swimming pool for cooling off in, if you don’t feel like frolicking in the sea. The kitchen comes equipped with a gas cooker, cutlery crockery and a wash up area as well as fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster – all the amenities needed for rustic log cabin stay.

What to do in Knysna
Knysna is one of the most popular destinations on the Garden Route with a kaleidoscope of activities to choose from. Take a ferry trip or a sunset yacht cruise on the lagoon, hike or cycle in the beautiful forests, take a walk on the beach or simply sit back and have a drink whilst watching the sun set over the estuary from one of Knysna’s gourmet restaurants. Within easy reach are several animal sanctuaries to explore from exotic birds at Birds of Eden and primates at Monkeyland, to big cats at the Tenikwa Wildlife Awareness Centre and elephants at the Knysna Elephant Park. Knysna also boasts several world-class golf courses including Pezula Golf Course, Simola Golf Course and Knysna Golf Course. It is situated near the towns of Plettenberg Bay and George, where there is an airport.
