The Lodge at a Glance
Amanzingwe offers bed and breakfast accommodation and a superb restaurant in the Hartbeespoort area, a 40-minute drive from Pretoria. Large gardens offer plenty of space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Guests can relax by the swimming pool during the day and sit by the warm boma fire area at night. The bar area offers a rustic yet comfortable place to relax with a drink and to party the night away. The Impala Restaurant serves breakfast buffets on weekends, and during the week a continental buffet or a la carte menu. For Sunday lunch, choose from 45 different meals from the buffet.

The lodge offers 42 thatched units that sleep two people and four family units that sleep six people. The rooms are decorated with a rustic, African feel with terracotta walls for an authentic bush lodge ambiance. Hartbeespoort is a small town and holiday resort on slopes of the Magaliesberg mountain range and the banks of the Hartbeespoort Dam. It is in close proximity to Johannesburg and Pretoria. It is a popular destination for weekend getaways or day trips. Water sports may be enjoyed including para-sailing, windsurfing, water and jet skiing.
