The Issue: Emergency Sponsorship Project
Without any form of assistance from the State, Compass relies on the generosity of companies and donations to feed, clothe and accommodate the 103 abused and abandoned, terminally ill, impoverished and previously disadvantaged babies and children currently in their care.
Despite their efforts, Compass is still short of sponsorship for 20 of their babies, requiring R2 100 per child – which will keep their babies in a loved and cared for environment for three months.
All donations to this cause will be used to purchase food and clothing as well as cover the costs of accommodation and medical care and provide the children with a pre-school education.
Sponsors can choose to donate R20, R50 or R100, or fully sponsor a child for three months by pledging the full R2 100. As thanks for their generous donation, all Groupies who donate will receive a certificate thanking them for their kindness and generosity.
A nationally recognized and registered organization, Compass provides a loving and caring environment for babies and children aged between new-born urg, the Organisation cares for approximately 103 babies and children, offering food and security, as well as a stimulating, empowering, nurturing and uplifting environment.
The organisation also spearheads a rehabilitation program for homeless women and children, providing professional counselling programs through registered counsellors and mental health practitioners.
