The cottages are stylishly furnished with a natural contemporary feel. The rooms have either a queen-size bed or double beds with quality linens. The cottages have private decks with BBQ facilities and hammocks. Each unit comes with a fully-equipped kitchen and dining area and a lounge with a fireplace, satellite TV and DVD player. The bathrooms have a bath tub, shower and hairdryer. The housekeepers service the cottages, and will make beds, wash dishes, and clean Weber barbecues and fireplaces; towels are changed every second day.

What to do in Knysna
Enjoy a forest hike from the cottage down into the valley (about 1.5 hours) or attempt a hike in the state forest seven kilometres away, with picnic spots and even some old goldmines to explore. There are world class mountain bike tracks in the area for the more adventurous. Buffalo Bay, a pristine beach and great surfing spot, is a 15-minute drive away in the Goukamma Marine Reserve. Knysna is just 15 kilometres away from the lodge, with a selection of restaurants and shops. Other activities that can be arranged include tree-top canopy tours, a visit to the Elephant Park, the world’s highest bungee jump, ferry and yacht cruises on the lagoon, game park visits, and horse riding.
